Questions to Ask Yourself

We will ask the right questions to assist you in understanding your child's needs.

  • Is your child having a hard time learning to read?
  • Does your child become overwhelmed with the simplest of homework assignments?
  • Have schoolmates stopped including your child in activities?
  • Does your child have difficulty following two or three directions without reminders?
  • Does frustration interfere with your child’s functioning?
  • Are the meanings of jokes lost on your child?
  • Is your child so literal that it is difficult to have a normal conversation with him?
  • Is keeping a backpack, desk, and belongings organized impossible for you child?
  • Are you unable to enjoy an outing with your child due to unexpected behavioral outbursts?
  • Does anxiety prevent your child from fully enjoying everyday activities?
  • Is your child bothered by tags in his shirt, seams in his socks, different textures in foods, noises?
  • Does your child misinterpret what you tell her?
  • Is it difficult for your child to follow the behavior expectations at school?
  • Is it difficult for your child to hold on to the information you know she has learned?
